“Sit and Breathe,” 11 x 14,” charcoal and metallic paint on paper, 2007, $47.
I did this drawing in preparation of a weeklong workshop in Taos, NM. It was a given by Stanislov Grof. He’s a pioneer in extensive research on non-ordinary states of consciousness. This drawing was done utilizing both hands drawing simultaneously. The image more or less came to me when I sat down to find inspiration through drawing. It promotes a moment of reflection, and peace in my day when I see it.
