Heemsteede

I lived in Heemsteede near Haarlem, about 20 minutes by train from Amsterdam. The people there are kind, economical, and progressive. I spent alot of time making paintings, seeing the sites, taking guitar lessons, and writing letters. My host families, and especially my host sister, Eske really opened my perspective on Europe, and other ways of life.
