Polke

“Polke,” 8 x 10,” oil on canvas, 2004. $99

Sigmar Polke is one of my very favorite artists. This reminds me both of his work, and of a particular dot image of Madonna and Child in an Ear, by Salvador Dali. I was quite the busy worker bee while painting this image, a symbol of repetitive patterns opposed to chaotic release.
