Spectricular

“Spectricular,” 24″ x48,” acrylic on canvas, 2008, $1,600.

A charcoal drawing was the basis for this nod to R.O.Y.G.B.I.V. I experienced a moment of grace. I literally drew it in a minute, inspired by a realization that everything is a lesson in this life; an opportunity to recognize. It is a humbling vantage point- the position to accept the middle of change, and birth to death. The sinewy vorticular shapes, paint drips, and light beams are energized in this spectricular perspective.
