Disney hair direction
In this exercise, I put fixed form into motion. I began by copying forms from all the Disney princesses’ up-dos. I guess I felt like brushing mindlessly for a while. The layered mass of lines bend sofltly and fall around the picture plane like we’re lookikng at the “crown” of a compiled princess in fast forward. It’s the layered look. This is the kind of painting you want to spin around on the wall.
